WHEN NATO in Oeiras were challenged to a baseball game against the Casuals team, one wondered what the final score would be for the well practised Casuals team.
The NATO team got together the day before the game for a little practice to take on this friendly challenge. Without a cloud in the sky and the heat taking its toll, by the end of the game, NATO came away with a respectable score – the Casuals only beating them 12-8.
If you are interested in baseball, there is still time to join the Casuals team, who practise every Saturday morning at St Julian’s School in Carcavelos.
