LOULÉ IS to host the training camp of the National Acrobatic Gymnastics team from June 5 to 9, prior to their participation in the 20th World Championship of Acrobatic Gymnastics, which takes place in Coimbra on June 14 and 17. Loulé was the chosen location for the training due to its excellent sports facilities, such as the municipal sports pavilion, but also because the city will be hosting the Portuguese Federation Cup for Trampolining and Acrobatic Sport on June 9 and 10. The Portuguese squad comprises various gymnasts, among them an Algarvean pair: Telmo Dias and Hugo Barão from the Ginástica Clube de Loulé and a couple from GimnoFaro.
