Must reads

The Millenium trilogy are the ‘must read’ books of the moment and a publishing sensation, having sold millions of copies.  Featuring a reclusive young Swedish woman whose hacking skills border on genius and a decidedly disturbed and mysterious childhood, the criminal investigations in which she becomes involved are fascinatingly portrayed alongside a skilled commentary on the often moral corruptness of global commerce.

The first in the series, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, is translated into English and available in paperback at 10.5 euros; the second, The Girl Who Played with Fire, is available in hardcover at 23.50 euros and English readers will have to wait for the third instalment to be published, hopefully this Autumn. The author, Stieg Larsson, wrote the trilogy and died suddenly in his early fifties before seeing his books published.
