Ideias do Levante, the cultural association of Lagoa, is launching musical training workshops for children and youngsters in October.
“Live Music Now”, as the project is called, will be led by musicians Gita Nasta and Francisco Brazão, and consist of two groups (ages 6-10 and 9-18) learning to develop vocal skills and dramatic talents in group and solo performances.
Students will be taught in both Portuguese and English and will meet on Fridays after school in Lagoa (a venue will be announced soon).
