Step back in time and remember the “good old days” with the Angels Theatre Group on March 20 at the Hotel Garbe in Armação de Pêra.
Guests are invited to come and enjoy an evening of songs and drama while supporting Algarve charity Castelo dos Sonhos, a Silves-based organisation that helps underprivileged people in the area.
Audience participation is an important part of Angel Theatre Group productions and their Old Time Musical is no exception.
Members of the audience are asked to dress up for the show with a free raffle ticket being given to all those who get into the spirit and don their fancy dress. If you are unsure what to wear then ladies could put on a plain skirt with a pretty blouse and accessorise with an elasticised belt or feather boa and shawl.
Meanwhile, men could simply wear a waistcoat, bow tie and flat cap or perhaps a blazer or boater.
Organisers suggest visiting charity shops to find suitable items to wear with the Castelo dos Sonhos shop on Rua Francisco Pablos in Silves putting items to one side specifically for those who want to take part.
Tickets will be available to buy from the Hotel Garbe or Joro Lda in Almancil, costing 28 euros per person which will include the show, a full buffet meal and wine.
