A musical entertainment programme consisting of jazz, fusion and string has begun at the Faro Airport terminal every Friday at 10am and will continue until September 27.
Although the musical performances are aimed mainly at the passengers departing and arriving, anyone interested in seeing the musicians perform is welcome.
The month of July will be dedicated to jazz music and will see many different artists take the stage. On July 5, the Paulo Matos trio inaugurated the programme with a combination of a guitar, saxophonist and a bassist. The Pedro Gil trio will perform on July 12, followed by the first duo of the series of performances, the André Capela duo. Ending the jazz cycle will be the Paulo Matos trio once again, on July 26.
August will be fusion month and September will mark the string cycle.
All concerts will run for 30 minutes.
