Beach festival

Meanwhile, following the success of the Sagres Sunset Fest held on June 12 and 13, organisers of the chill out festival will be staging the Arrifana Sunset Fest in Aljezur on July 26.

This will be a chance for those who enjoy the relaxing sounds of reggae, soul and ska to sit on the beach and soak up the sunset while swaying to the sounds of the sea.

“All the bands loved playing at the fort in Sagres but Arrifana is different, more personal and only for one day so there will be fewer bands but with more of an international feel,” said festival organiser  Diogo Vasconcelos.

He added: “The festival at Arrifana beach is an event I would advise everyone to go to as it is always a really great party atmosphere with plenty of food, drink and music!”

Entry to the festival costs 12 euros per person, with tickets available on the day.

Further information about the Arrifana Sunset Fest can be obtained in English by calling Diogo Vasconcelos on 918 102 898.
