Museum reopens

The Regional Museum of the Algarve has re-opened to the public after the upgrading of museum collections, management reorganisation and staff retraining.

The museum, located on Praça da Liberdade in Faro, was founded in 1962 and contains displays of traditional Algarve dress, fishing equipment, examples of Algarve homes in the past and other artefacts relating to the region’s history and culture.
