PORTIMÃO’S NEW municipal museum is to be inaugurated by the Minister of Culture, Pinto Ribeiro, on May 17 at its new location on the edge of the Arade River.
As well as having permanent exhibitions and archived documents, the new museum will also have several temporary exhibitions throughout the year. The museum’s first official temporary event, a photography exhibition entitled PhotoEspaña 2008, will start on June 21.
