Murder and mystery in “The Italian Affair”

Aperitivo Performance Group is presenting its latest production, “The Italian Affair”, this month.

Detective Chief Inspector Spade and Detective Sergeant Singer are keeping their eye on Miss Lottie Lavender, but she is only one of the many suspects for the latest crime in the little village of Thraxton-on-the-Wold, Gossipshire.

The villagers have been unsettled by the arrival of a suspicious, foreign ele-ment in their little corner of England – an Italian Restaurant! The Vicar sug-gests it is probably run by the Mafia, and the excitable Miss Prodnose fears that the owner will probably throw a bomb through the library window – although the library already looks rather as if a bomb has hit it, due to the re-decoration work currently being carried out there by Mr. Sid, Lady Golightly’s general handyman.

This is Aperitivo’s latest Murder Mystery and there is even a chance to win a prize if you correctly guess the villain.

Performances will be held on June 17 and 18 at Clube de Tavira, on June 25 at Casa do Povo, Moncarapacho, and on July 1 and 2 at São Brás Museum.

Tickets cost €8.
