The Algarve’s “Mrs Bupa”, Do Eves announced last week that she was handing over the reins of Bupa International to Jeanett and Mark Ellis.
She is sure the couple will be a great asset to both the company and its many members in the Algarve. Jeanett speaks several languages and is knowledgeable in the health insurance world.
Do Eves said: “After more years than I dare count, the time really has come for me to hang up my motor racing gloves, my riding jodhpurs and my BUPA International hat. Thank you to all the people who I have met along the way for making my life so interesting.
“I did not think when I arrived in the Algarve permanently in 1996 that I would be working here for a further 16 years – meeting so many lovely people.”
Do Eves hopes to now have the time to learn more Portuguese and be able to “at least carry on a conversation which is not about the weather. I am off travelling – first stop the Ice Hotel in Romania!”
