A PORTUGUESE lorry driver working for a Spanish haulage company was arrested on Monday on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a family of six died in a crash on the M6 in Cheshire, England.
The 46 year old man was one of the drivers involved in an accident that involved three lorries and two cars.
The six fatalities were all from the same family and included four children aged between 13 and ten weeks old.
Police have been granted further time to interview the lorry driver with the use of an interpreter.
