Barragem do Pereiro in Alcoutim is the setting for the four-hour motorbike endurance race ‘TT Pereiro – Alcoutim’ taking place on Saturday, February 28, starting at 8am. Organised by Grupo Desportivo de Alcoutim and Associação de Jovens do Nordeste Algarvio (Inter Vivos), the event attracts some of Portugal’s best-known bikers, including the Algarve’s own Ruben Faria, of Rally Dakar fame, and daredevil Pedro Afonso.
