THIS WEEKEND (June 2, 3 and 4) sees the Clube Moto Convívio de Olhão host its 14th motorbike convention at Pinheiros de Marim (just off the EN125 between Olhão and Tavira).
Bikers are promised a varied programme of activities and a high quality entertainment programme, headlined by the popular Portuguese band IRIS. As well as music and, of course, plenty of hi-jinks, the event also offers participants the chance to view an exhibition of vintage motorbikes.
Watch out for the convention’s traditional parade that takes place on the morning of Sunday, June 4. If you live in the vicinity, stay in and batten down the hatches or line the streets and cheer them on – it all depends on your noise tolerance level!
