A motor caravan park opened last weekend in Albufeira at the former ground of Imortal Desportivo Clube, which was facing economic difficulties. The park can accommodate 105 vehicles and is seen as a significant move in supporting the tourist sector of the region. According to Correio da Manhã newspaper, the idea for the new park came from motor caravan enthusiast Baptista dos Santos, the ex-commander of the Bombeiros Voluntários de Albufeira.
