Moroccan Ambassador to Portugal Karima Benyaïch visited the Algarve on May 6 and 7 to strengthen ties with regional authorities, companies and institutions.
During her stay, the Moroccan representative met with the mayors of Portimão, Faro, Albufeira (pictured) and Tavira and even visited the nearly-completed Quintablanca Palace Hotel in Albufeira, which she considered “a fantastic project with many Moroccan influences”.
Benyaïch said she hopes to return to the Algarve this summer.
