More than four million Portuguese were ‘out and about’ over the sunny weekend

Lockdown rules or not, people are making sure they stretch their legs and get the right dose of fresh air and Vitamin D that no legislation can take away from them. The weekend saw ‘more than four million people out and about’ on Saturday and Sunday’, reports SIC television today, citing a study by consultancy PSE saying Saturday was the busiest day in terms of populational movement since the start of 2021. PSE’s concern, says SIC, is whether this tendency will continue, bearing in mind the ‘stay at home’ rule is still in place for the next two weeks.
