A new wildfire is being fought by over 120 firefighters in Ameixial (Cumeada do Malhão) in Loulé. The fire started at 4.27pm and is affecting mostly shrublands.
Firefighters are being assisted by 34 vehicles and four aircraft.
Meantime, over 270 firefighters continue to battle flames in the Odemira borough (click here).
