An agreement has been reached between Loulé Câmara and the Associação de Comércio e Serviços da Região do Algarve, the retailers and services association of the Algarve, to extend opening hours at Loulé stores this Christmas.
The move comes as part of a bid to boost trade in the traditional shopping areas of Loulé and to discourage local residents from disappearing to the big shopping centres to buy all their presents.
From today, December 1, until the end of the month, all shops in Loulé are authorised to open from 9am to 10pm on a daily basis, with the exception of December 25, when all will be closed.
