PSP police have presented a prevention and visibility plan for the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, which will allow for a greater police presence in places considered to be “at risk” and will lead to the creation of ‘citizens’ police stations’.
The plan was presented at the ceremony marking the 156th anniversary of the Lisbon Metropolitan Command (Cometlis) of the public security police on Monday, but there is still no concrete date for the start of this new policing model.
