Lagoa municipality is organising a series of ‘Moonlight Walks’ in July and August, open to all who want to adopt a healthier lifestyle.
Two walks have already taken place, in Lagoa and Sra da Rocha, but there is still time to register for the upcoming events.
On July 17, there will be a walk under the stars in Estômbar (meet at Largo da Igreja), followed by another on the 24th in Parchal (meet at Estádio da Belavista).
Walkers will be able to enjoy the delightful streets of Ferragudo in a warm summer night on July 31 (meet at Largo Rainha D. Leonor).
Carvoeiro will provide the scenery for the walk on August 7. Meet at the square.
All walks start at 8.35pm and cover a distance of between 4 and 5kms.
