Monuments, museums and national palaces to get more guardians

The ministry of Culture has announced that it will be beefing the number of people charged with protecting/ conserving national monuments, museums and places of culture. A total of 74 security people will be taken on, and 40 restorers – principally for heritage sites in Lisbon, Porto and Coimbra.
