Catholic Mass is taking place in English this Sunday, December 19 at 4pm in Carvoeiro at the chapel on the cliffs – Our Lady of the Incarnation.
“Our celebrant will be our parish priest, Fr Nuno Coelho, and together we will celebrate the Fourth Sunday of Advent,” said Madeleine Wheare from Carvoeiro Catholics.
“The whole Mass will be in English: the readings, the hymns as well as the Order of Mass. We will be singing some Carols.
Everyone is most welcome even if you do not normally attend this church.”
Please wear your masks and use hand sanitiser at the door.
There will be a Christmas collection for the Food Bank at the end of Mass. Carvoeiro Catholics now support 100 families in need.
The usual time for weekend Mass in Carvoeiro is Saturday at 5.30pm (in Portuguese). This English Mass does not replace that.
