Monte Rei Golf & Country Club in Vila Nova de Cacela will be hosting a Golf Day on Sunday, August 28, organised by Rotary Club Estoi Palace International.
Described as “one of the most anticipated events of the year’s golf calendar”, the golf day will try to raise money for several Algarve-based charity projects.
Part of it will go towards funding the university education of an “underprivileged child” at Universidade do Algarve, while the remainder will go to local projects such as Refood.
The golf tournament will begin at 9.30am and will take place in an 18-hole Individual Stableford format.
There will be valet parking, access to practice facilities, a continental buffet breakfast, free on course water and soft drinks, a BBQ lunch with complimentary wine and beer as well as prizes for the winners.
Cost is €145 per player.
