Monte Gordo will be paying tribute to its patron saint Nossa Senhora das Dores with 12 days of festivities between September 4 and 15, the highlight of which will be a beach procession on September 8 at 5pm.
The procession is not only a significant event for locals but has also become popular among holidaymakers, attracting hundreds of people every year.
