Monte da Quinta Resort becomes Wyndham Grand Algarve in €5 million revamp

Quinta do Lago’s Monte da Quinta Resort has been renamed and rebranded as the Wyndham Grand Algarve, as part of a €5 million investment.

Throughout this year, the Wyndham Grand Algarve is due to undergo major renovation work which includes a complete revamp of its 132 suites and the construction of a new and modern gym (already completed), restaurants, communal areas and a spa.

“Our goal is to turn the Wyndham Grand Algarve into one of the most luxurious and distinct hotels in the award-winning Quinta do Lago resort,” general manager Maarten de Boer says.

The resort has joined Wyndham Hotels and Resorts which describes itself as the “largest hotel franchise company in the world, operating 20 brands.”

“Wyndham Grand’s beautiful destinations around the world combine premium amenities, restaurants, and spas with sophisticated architectural design to leave a lasting impression,” the company says in a statement.

It adds: “This is the first Wyndham Grand in the Iberian Peninsula, providing an incredible opportunity to introduce something new to the market”.
