Monkeypox, the virus that ‘came out of nowhere’ recently and failed to cause worldwide alarm is now being renamed, in order to lose its ‘racist’ connotation. This has all been decided by the World Health Organisation which doesn’t seem to think ‘chickenpox’ has a racist connotation. Both viruses appear to be relatively similar, although chicken pox is not caught from anal sex.
