Commemorating Navy Day in Porto today, Admiral of the fleet Henrique Gouveia e Melo was quizzed on the ins and outs of the ‘mutiny’ on the Mondego, which involved 13 naval personnel refusing to take part in a mission due to perceived seaworthiness failings in the Mondego patrol ship.
