Monchique to have a court again in January

Monchique’s courthouse is undergoing €50,000 renovations to reopen in January 2017. But it will depend on whether the renovations are completed in time and if a new diploma is approved as part of Portugal’s new judicial map, Secretary of State for Justice Helena Ribeiro told Sulinformação. The renovations are being carried out by the local council, which sees the reopening of the courthouse as a top priority for the borough.
