Prince’s condition stabilises
Last week, 81-year-old Prince Rainier of Monaco was rushed into intensive care and put on a respirator in a principality hospital. Doctors say that he is now stable but there is still cause for concern.He is suffering lung, cardiac and kidney problems, although doctors say the deterioration of the function of the organs has been halted. The Pope, also in ill-health, sent a blessing on Saturday, offering the prince “warm wishes”.
