Missing Claremont funds now over E3m

THE SEARCH continues for Mark Hodgson (33), the missing director of Claremont Consultants Ltd, whose office in Albufeira mysteriously closed at the beginning of June this year, leaving investors utterly in the dark and extremely fearful as to the whereabouts of their money. Many fear they have lost their entire life savings.

A total of 29 investors have now come forward and missing money now stands at over three million euros. According to Jacob Dijkstra, a relative of two of the investors and who is spearheading the campaign to find Hodgson and the missing money, the issue of an international warrant for the arrest of Hodgson has still not been forthcoming despite assurances by lawyers and police that it is imminent.

Meanwhile, Claremont investors have engaged a UK law firm in the hope that measures can be put in motion to trace the missing money.

Investors are still appealing for anyone who believes they may be affected by Hodgson’s disappearance and the closure of Claremont Consultants Ltd office, or has news of Hodgson or his wife Zena, to contact Faro’s Polícia Judiciária or email Jacob Dijkstra on [email protected]
