Missing artworks owned by State to stay missing

After two and a half years of fruitless ‘searching’, the Public Ministry has archived the inquiry into the disappearance of 94 works of art in the State’s so-called contemporary collection. It is generally accepted now that no one will ever be the wiser. These missing art works started being talked about openly in 2019, when the list involved almost double the current amount. Since then, the inquiry first opened by the Culture ministry has been shunted to the Public Ministry, and now ‘archived’.
