Minister praises hard workers

The Minister of Internal Administration, Miguel Macedo, said that Portugal “cannot be a country with many grasshoppers and few ants” at the inauguration of a firefighters headquarters in Vouzela, in the north of Portugal, last Sunday. Alluding to the story of the hard-working ant and the lazy grasshopper, the minister also praised the “Portuguese people’s hard work” to overcome the recession.
