Minister of Defence says Portugal evaluating the sending further military equipment to Ukraine

Just as Russian defence minister Serguei Shoigu has declared Russia will destroy “any NATO vehicle that arrives in Ukraine with arms and munitions destined for the Ukrainian army”, Portugal’s minister of defence Helena Carreiras has said the government is “evaluating” sending further military equipment as requested recently by members of the Ukrainian government. Ms Carreiras stressed that there is the question of keeping a reserve of equipment in this country for defence purposes.
