Millions of Lego pieces used in Portimão exhibition

A “mega exhibition” made up of over five million Lego building blocks will take place at Portimão Arena between August 15 and 30.

Entitled ‘Portimão Arena Fun Brick’, the event will feature the country’s “largest Lego city”, as well as monuments, movie recreations like Star Wars and other conceptual Lego sculptures.

The exhibition will also feature a Play Zone where children will be able to play with Lego blocks, and a Fan Zone where visitors can see constructions built by local collectors and visit the Lego store.

The exhibition will be open from 2pm to 10pm Monday to Friday, and from 10am to 11pm over the weekend.

Tickets cost €3 for adults and €2 for children aged between four and 10. A family ticket (two adults and two children) costs €8. Ten cents will be donated to a local charity (IPSS) for every ticket sold.
