The demand for government support with the purchase of bicycles in Portugal has already ‘practically exhausted’ the million euros set aside for the purpose in the 2021 State Budget. Says Expresso, plans are to “reinforce” these kind of financial measures as part of the executive’s “strategy to promote transport in non-polluting vehicles”.
