PORTUGAL’S MILITARY day was celebrated in the Manuel Bivar gardens of Faro with a parade involving 1,200 soldiers on Sunday, October 26.
The celebrations, which took place between October 23 and 26, also involved 105 musicians from the army’s symphony band and a display of military vehicles, including a 60 tonne combat tank.
