Dear Editor,
I have lived in Loulé for 26 years and always look forward to “the return of the birds”. Today, January 27, I saw three house martins going back to old nests next to the market in Loulé. They do not normally appear until the end of February, but they also seem to be leaving earlier each year. I wonder whether other readers are interested in recording the arrival and departure of migrating birds, as well as other possible changes in the habits of flora and fauna, perhaps brought about by climate change.
