Vista restaurant in Praia da Rocha is hosting two special seafood dinners next week prepared by seven Portuguese chefs with Michelin stars.
What makes this ‘Mar Adentro’ event special is that chefs taking part only know the ingredients they will be using on the day of the dinners. The idea – pitched by Vista’s headchef João Oliveira – is to challenge them into coming up with imaginative and delicious recipes.
The first dinner will be held Friday, October 15, to be prepared by Alexandre Silva (Loco), Rui Silvestre (Bon Bon), João Rodrigues (Feitoria) and Arnaldo Azevedo (Palco). The second will take place the next day, this time hosted by Miguel Rocha Vieira (Guincho), Leonel Pereira (São Gabriel) and Carlos Fernandes (Loco).
Each dinner costs €150 and is limited to just 30 people.
Vista is located within the Bela Vista Hotel & Spa in Praia da Rocha, Portimão.
