The Mediterranean Gardening Association Portugal (MGAP) has announced that its Autumn Garden Fair, scheduled to take place on October 24 and 25 in Silves, has been cancelled. The event was due to take place at Fissul exhibition centre.
Said organisers: “As you will be aware, MGAP partners with Silves Freguesia and Silves Câmara in the staging of this event. We have been waiting for an update on whether it would be possible to still hold the event in these times of social distancing and the continuing effect on health of the Covid-19 virus.
“At a meeting this week of AMAL, the Association of Algarve Câmaras, direction was given for all annual fairs for the rest of the year to be cancelled. We thank you for your support and understanding.”
