AFTER ENDURING 64 years of chronic headaches, a 77-year-old Chinese woman finally went to see a doctor, who x-rayed her and found a bullet lodged in her skull.

The only explanation she could think of was that during World War II, she remembered that she was caught in the line of fire of a Japanese patrol, and was knocked out. When she regained consciousness, her head was bandaged up, but she had no idea that there was a bullet in her head.

Her family told journalists that when she began talking nonsense and foaming at the mouth, she could not afford a proper health check. She has since had the bullet removed and is seeking compensation for more than 50 years of suffering, as well as a public apology.
