Bella Acapella Barbershop chorus is looking for male singers

International mixed group Bella Acapella, who love to sing and have fun, are looking for men to join them.

The group comprises 26 singers who enjoy singing together and describe their concerts as “joyful”.

“We also enjoy the musical coaching sessions we have regularly with professional singers. We sing Barbershop style and it’s all about enjoying close harmony chords, singing with passion and engaging the audience,” they say. “But we need men!”

The choir has singers from 10 nationalities, 22 are women and four are men – “Something must be done!”

Both beginners and experienced singers are welcome. All you need is a musical heart and knowledge of English. Nothing more.

“Come along, feel the atmosphere, listen to our music and see if it works for you,” says the Bella Acapella group.

Rehearsals take place on Wednesdays at 7.30pm at the Re-Criativa Association in Rua da República, 14, in Olhão.
