Algarve’s Bella A Cappella choir, an international, mixed group “who love to sing and have fun”, is looking for men to join them.
The international choir of 26 singers holds rehearsals once a week and describes their concerts as “joyful”, adding that “singing barbershop style is about enjoying close harmony chords, singing with passion and engaging the audience”.
But now they need men to ensure the group dynamic improves.
As they say, “yes, we are international”, with singers of 10 different nationalities. However, mixed “not so much”, with four men and 22 women – “something must be done!”
Both beginners and experienced singers are welcome. All you need is “a musical heart and knowledge of English. But that’s it!”

Bella A Cappella meets for rehearsals on Wednesdays at 7.30pm at the Re-Criativa Association at Rua da República, 14, in Olhão.
