Police are working on the theory that two men selling house alarms could be behind a recent robbery with violence in the Sintra area. French couple Dominique and Francoise Segard were woken by four men in hoodies who threatened them with guns before making off with items of gold and one of the couple’s cars. Days before, the Segards had been visited by two men asking if they were interested in buying a house alarm.
