Members of the Algarve Wine Society attended a tasting and dinner event, held at the Grande Real Santa Eulália Resort & Hotel on October 19.
Australian oenologist Peter Bright presented the evening and supplied wines for tasting. “We tasted a number of excellent varietals and the flagship wine Outeiro, which was quite superb,” said the Society Secretary Larry Hampton. “We all agreed it was a truly memorable evening.”
Two events remain in the Society’s autumn 2011 programme: a tasting of Chocapalha wines followed by dinner at Quinta dos Poetas on Wednesday, November 16, and the Society´s Christmas lunch at the Tivoli Vilamoura on Wednesday, December 7.
