Her Excellency the Irish Ambassador to Portugal Anne Webster will be guest of honour at a summer party by the St Patrick’s Irish Society of the Algarve. The party will be held in a member’s garden near Armação de Pêra on Saturday, July 12 from 6.30pm.
The Fat Pig Hog Roast Company will serve spit-roasted lamb and chicken with salads and potatoes followed by desserts made by Society members. There will be plenty of Guinness, wine, beer and soft drinks to complement the meal.
Later guests will dance to the music of Robbie and Carlos. The party is open to people of all nationalities.
Cost is €15 for members and €17.50 for non-members.
