The 8th edition of Silves Medieval Fair organised by Silves Municipality will take place between August 9 and 15.
It will be seven days of historical recreation of the old medieval period of the former capital of the Algarve.
The fair will be open from 6pm to 1am and the main aim of the event is to present people of all ages and nationalities with a vision of what the city was like during the medieval age and its importance in the history of the region.
It will also promote the tourism and cultural promotion of the council, representing an alternative to the sun and
beach tourism.
