Medical outposts ‘up and running’ at 31 Algarve beaches

In a bid to provide quick medical care to beachgoers in need, 31 medical outposts have opened at some of the Algarve’s most popular beaches.

They are used to treat conditions such as sunstroke, weaverfish stings and minor injuries. These units also act as a triage in case patients need to be transferred to a hospital or health centre.
