Azinhal in Castro Marim council will be celebrating Algarve traditions during the fifth Terra de Maio event starting today (Friday) until Sunday, May 20.
Gastronomy, traditional products, such as Castro Marim’s famous Flor de Sal salt, Algarve wines, handicraft, animal shows and Portuguese music are all included in the programme.
The festival, which is taking place at the multipurpose centre, opens tonight at 5pm with a music performance by Banda Musical Castromarinense. On Saturday and Sunday, exhibitions and other activities will be held throughout the day and into the night.
