Enterprising Rita Alves has just launched a new line of swimwear, specialising in bikinis and bathing suits for women who have had mastectomies.
The ethos of Sweemi swimwear is to promote its users’ self-esteem. Says Alves, she has been inundated with ‘thank-you’s’ – with many saying they feel “very beautiful” in their special suits.
